Privacy policy

This policy explains how India Fasteners (“we”, “us”) handles personal and company information on indiafasteners.com. It applies to visitors, buyers who send enquiries, and suppliers who register or buy a plan.

1. Data we collect

Account data: name, email, mobile, company name, password hash, and profile details you enter.
Listing data: business profile, products, images, addresses, and other fields you publish.
Enquiries and requirements: name, mobile, company, and the requirement text you submit (often after OTP verification).
Payments: plan chosen, amount, invoice number, GSTIN if you provide it, and payment status. Card and UPI details are collected by Razorpay, not stored on our servers.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and similar logs needed to run and secure the Site. We also use Google Analytics.

2. Why we use it

To create and run your account and listing.
To show your public profile and products to buyers.
To deliver enquiries to the right supplier and to show lead details according to your plan.
To take payment, send a receipt, and activate or end a plan.
To send transactional mail (activation, invoices, password reset). Marketing mail is only sent where you have subscribed (for example our newsletter).
To prevent abuse, debug issues, and meet legal or payment-partner requirements.

3. Who we share it with

Other users: public listing fields are visible on the Site. Enquiry contact details are shown to the supplier (and more fully to paid suppliers).
Razorpay: name, contact, amount, and order notes needed to collect payment.
Email and hosting providers: to send mail and host the Site.
Authorities: if required by law.

We do not sell your personal data as a mailing list.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies for login sessions, checkout, and site function. Google Analytics helps us understand traffic. You can block cookies in your browser; some features (including stay-logged-in and checkout) may then not work.

5. Retention

We keep account and listing data while the account is active and for a reasonable period after closure for records, invoices, and dispute handling. Payment records are kept as needed for accounting and Razorpay reconciliation. You may ask us to delete or correct account data; we may retain what the law or an open payment dispute requires.

6. Security

Passwords are stored hashed. Admin tools sit on a separate login. No method of transmission is completely secure; please use a strong unique password.

7. Your choices

Edit your listing and account from the supplier dashboard.
Ask us to change the login email, or close the account, by writing to the address below.
Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in that email or the newsletter host.

8. Children

The Site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
